A holiday spent in the Castle Spa is something very special, as there is no other spa like it in Estonia or the Scandinavian countries. Awaiting discovery are five different saunas, including the exceptionally popular smoke sauna made of genuine logs, as well as a refreshing aroma sauna and a lower temperature amber sauna. After enjoying a hot sauna, you can cool off in the cold-water oasis or enjoy a water massage in the indoor pool. The hot Japanese bath and bubbling hot tub invite you to enjoy the healing power of water. But what’s even more special is that you can swim in the brand new outdoor pool, where the water temperature remains at +35 degrees all year round, even during cold weather. In addition, there is an outdoor children’s pool in the spa extension, so that the youngest members of the family can also enjoy the spa experience. The private spa has a number of different relaxation areas, where you can watch the colourful aquarium fish or admire the beauty of the castle park.
AMBER SAUNA
The amber sauna is a lower temperature sauna (50–55°C), where you can spend more than 20 minutes enjoying the sauna. Ideal for children and older people who are not fond of high temperatures. The warm and soothing light relaxes all the senses and relieves muscle tension.
finnish sauna
In Finnish saunas, the air is hot and dry (70°C). The heat source is an electric heater with hot stones, the air in which can be briefly humidified by throwing water onto the stones. The sauna works best when hot and cold alternate – after throwing water onto the hot rocks to make steam, the body should be cooled with cold water. The body can be refreshed in the shower in front of the sauna, and relaxation is complemented by a dip in the pool.
steam-aroma sauna
A sauna with low temperature (55°C) and high humidity. The moist heat intensively cleanses the skin, leaving it soft and silky. The pleasant fragrance is good for the respiratory tract, being both relaxing and energising. The recommended duration of the sauna session is no more than 15 minutes.
Salt-steam sauna
A low temperature (50°C) and high humidity sauna. The warm steam opens the pores of the skin, while rubbing salt over the body acts as an exfoliating treatment, leaving the skin silky soft when you exit the sauna. Salt has cleansing and antibacterial properties. The recommended duration of the sauna session is no more than 12 minutes. The salt should be washed off the skin in the shower before enjoying the springs.
Smoke sauna
A hot sauna (95°C) with the possibility of whisking, assembled from the logs of an authentic smoke sauna. In this sauna you will feel like you are in a real country sauna and are part of the ancient Estonian tradition of whisking. Breathing invigorates the senses, benefits the skin and circulation, helps muscles recover, and boosts metabolism.
swimming pool with water massage
The hall, with its vaulted ceilings and pillars, features an indoor warm-water pool. The relaxing colourful light show and underwater massage jets have a relaxing effect on the whole body.
hot tub
A large warm water hot tub that seats up to eight people. The hot tub offers a massaging bath that has a relaxing effect on the whole body.
japanese bath
A hot (42°C) and relaxing bath to rejuvenate both body and mind, offering a great alternative to natural hot springs. Improves circulation and speeds up metabolism, helping to eliminate toxins from the body.
swimming pool
The warm-water swimming pool that is part of the spa extension, which is particularly popular with children. The pool has a large relaxation area with deck chairs, where parents can watch their children and enjoy a wonderful view of the castle park.
outdoor pool
A two-part outdoor pool that opened in winter 2024. The temperature of the water in the warm water pool remains at 35° degrees all year round, offering relaxation regardless of the weather. The cold pool is really cold. It offers a refreshing and health-boosting experience for the brave, which will get the blood of water lovers pumping.
